Conectas Human Rights

An NGO founded in São Paulo which promotes the realization of human rights and consolidation of the Rule of Law in the Global South. Conectas is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization founded in São Paulo, Brazil, in September 2001. Conectas’ mission is to promote the realization of human rights and consolidation of the Rule of Law in the Global South –Africa, Asia and Latin America. Conectas also works to influence the course of debate on human rights in Brazil. Through interviews and op-eds, analyses and information, the organization aims to involve society, pressure the authorities and raise the cost of decisions taken by public and private actors in matters of both domestic justice and foreign policy.
