El Salvador: Images of the Elections
From Salvadorean digital newspaper ElFaro.net comes a striking gallery of 74 images taken during the recent 2nd round of the presidential elections in El Salvador, in which the FMLN candidate, Salvador Sánchez Cerén, won by an extremely narrow margin.

Note the dramatic difference in appearance of the supporters of ARENA and those of the FMLN: differences of race, class and wealth are all too evident.
All or most of the photos are by Mauro Arias.
