El Gran Malón is an invitation to hold Malones, street lunches, throughout Chile, on the same day, with the idea of getting to know your neighbours, sharing a meal and building the community.
The first Gran Malón de Chile was held on Saturday 8 abril 2017, and more than 11,800 people met together, in 8 regions, talking about what we could do for Chile.
El Gran Malón is an initiative of Fundación Ciudad Emergente, and in 2017 has been backed by the Puelche organization and sponsored by the Open Society Foundation, with the support of more than 50 groups across Chile.
